Dear Bill,
I hope you are well—truly well—and have fully recovered. I, too, am doing very well and continuing with my daily work.
Before anything else, I want to sincerely congratulate you on International Authors’ Day and thank you wholeheartedly for sending me your beautiful message on this occasion.
I must say, your message astonished me—it filled me with excitement, and my soul soared like a bird in flight. In my imagination, it was as though you were standing before a mirror and describing what you saw reflected in yourself, yet attributing it to me. You are so gifted in writing that you command the pen like a general—ordering it to pierce what seems unpierceable, like a sword, though not to cut, but to quench the thirst of hearts from the fountain of love and kindness.
It is a great honor for me that such a talented writer and distinguished scholar in the field of addiction recovery speaks of me in this way.
When your message was read aloud by Ehsan in a hall filled with people, everyone was captivated by the eloquence and beauty of your words, and by the depth of your understanding of Congress 60.
They were all asking how Mr. William White could have reached such a profound insight into the deepest layers of Congress 60.
I am deeply grateful for the dedication and tireless effort you devote to sharing your knowledge and experience to help those suffering from addiction all over the world.
Here, I wish to proudly dedicate my own pen—now in the midst of writing—to you.
Also, I asked dear Ehsan to send you the videos from this ceremony. During the event, the Congress 60 Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Amin, performed several musical pieces.
Dear Bill, I will always love you.
Your friend and brother on earth and in heaven,
Hossein
