An Interview with Mr. Amin Dezhakam on Tree Planting Week

Whatever we do, its reflection comes back to ourselves. If you create a sense of joy in humans, joy is created in you

An Interview with Mr. Amin Dezhakam on Tree Planting Week

On the sidelines of the Companions’ tree-planting camp, we were with Mr. Amin Dezhakam—the Dideban of Worldview and education—arranged an interview with him, which we invite you to read, and which we draw your attention to. He traveled under the guidance of Mr. Hossein Dezhakam. He has been liberated from addiction for 11 years and 7 days. Later, under the guidance of Mr. Hossein Dezhakam, he has been liberated from smoking for 10 years. His sports in Congress 60 include swimming and shooting.
How did Mr. Dezhakam come to the conclusion in the twelfth Valley that tree planting must be done?
These are actually the foundation of Congress 60’s teachings in the book Love, 14 Valleys to Know Thyself; that is, the pillar of Congress 60’s teachings and worldview is in these 14 valleys. In this Valley, we have different sections; for example, we have the covenant of the eighth Valley, and tree planting is in the twelfth Valley. There, when Mr. Dezhakam talks about the topic of compensating for damage, he enters this matter that over the time of addiction, when we have harmed ourselves, our family, our surroundings, society, and nature, and have caused destructions. Now that we have reached cure, we must compensate and correct these harms. One part of this includes nature. In different ways, we have harmed nature. Besides the destruction and damage we inflicted on nature, when we are cured, we are revived and green inside; therefore, we feel that now we should begin to help revive nature as well. So, this comes from the thought of compensating for damage, and because we have been revived, now we must pay attention to our surrounding world.
What are the physical and metaphysical effects of tree planting on body and mind?
Whatever we do, its reflection comes back to ourselves. If you create a sense of joy in humans, joy is created in you, and if you create sorrow and grief in humans through your actions and behavior, its reflection comes back to you—that is the boomerang that Mr. Dezhakam talks about. If you create fear, the same comes back to you. Now, when you plant a tree, what do you do? You help correct nature, produce oxygen, stabilize the temperature, and the effects you create return to yourself. If you compare a living planet with a dead planet, you will see one [the living planet] has trees, the dead one does not; one has plants, one does not; so life begins with trees and plants. Now, when we perform this action, the effects of temperature balance, oxygen production, pollution purification, and similar things return to ourselves.
Please interpret this message for us: hold your hands intertwined towards the sky and do not stop until you have received what you have not yet [this is part of the Second Journey Message read in all meetings of Congress 60].
To be honest, to speak easily, there is something: a connection exists between the earth and the Sky, and this twisting you perform around an axis—let’s say around a rope or a tree—starts to move upward. The twist is around an axis, and when you twist, it is around an axis and like something that moves around a column and goes upwards. What is that column? That column is something connected from the earth to the sky; that is, you, with that twist, move around that straight path. That column, the straight path, means the correct direction. When there is twisting, you cannot go in other paths and cannot deviate; you are forced to move around that axis and direction. And this “hold towards the sky” means what? It means keep that direction. Stay on the straight path until those events and things happen.
Sometimes, during a trip, we plant a fruit [seed] in a suitable place or plant a sapling; but we cannot take care of that sapling or seed. Does this count as tree planting?
Tree planting in the sense of the twelfth Valley is not like that; because it has a ceremony and explanation. You must plant the tree and care for it every year, and if it dries, you have to plant two trees in its place; so planting a seed or sapling with that situation is not considered as tree planting. However, planting a seed is a good deed. That seed is wiser than us; if the conditions of the bed are suitable, it grows and comes out. In fact, our goal is to move towards seed planting and sowing; because it is very different from tree planting, which can be discussed at the proper time.
What is the difference between planting a tree that bears fruit and a tree that does not?
First, we do not have a tree without fruit; some trees bear fruit and are used in gardens. But trees that are compatible with their environment help the stability of that climate and ecosystem, balance, oxygen production, and temperature balance.
They say pines are like pumps that drain underground water and carry no load. Does planting such a tree bear any results?
Yes, they do produce results, but it must be optimized. The point is what are the best trees you can plant for the environment? The answer is within itself: the best trees are those compatible with the climate [of that specific place]. If you plant a tree compatible with the climate, it means it can stand on its own, which makes it useful. But if you plant a tree mistakenly, you always have to take care of it, meaning it may be vulnerable, I do not mean they are useless, but they do not yield the required results. You must plant a tree that has a natural connection with the region’s climate. You wouldn’t plant a Canadian pine in the south because it will dry and be useless; now, even if you give it much water, it may survive, but the condition is that the tree must be compatible [to that specific climate]. It is possible to plant a productive and useful tree, but humans may harm it and destroy it. In general, the goal of tree planting is not about whether it bears fruit; it is not personal preference.
How can one travel to nearby galaxies and observe infinite creation, energy, and rays?
This is in the fourteenth Valley, and you must learn the fourteenth Valley. In the Second Speech, entitled as “Waves”, it is taught that we must [first] perceive those waves, celestial bodies and planets inside humans; when human beings become familiar and intimate [with their own structure and internal capabilities], then they can establish a connection with nature.
What is the message and purpose of Mr. Dezhakam in organizing tree planting camps? Why did he include tree planting week in the weekly agenda?
It is very important. We live on planet Earth. Our life depends on the life of this planet. If this planet does not exist, we do not exist. Therefore, it is essential that we work to rebuild and revive this planet, which now, due to human destruction, many areas that were habitable are becoming uninhabitable. Returning this planet to proper condition is very important, valuable, and wise.
We sincerely thank Mr. Amin Dezhakam for allowing us to spend a few moments with him despite his busy schedule, and to have this beautiful and attractive conversation and learn from his words.
