Dear Hossein,
I am glad to hear that you are well and that operations within Congress 60 have returned to normal. As an organization, you are well-equipped to manager such interruptions that are beyond your control. Few organizations can claim such strength and resiliency.
Ehsan shared with me your suggested edits of the draft of our latest paper and I have made those corrections in the draft. Dr. Sarapas and Candace are reviewing the draft now and once I receive their comments I will share a final draft with all of the coauthors. Depending on the journal I select for submission, I may need to do some tightening of the paper to reach the maximum required word count for the journal. I will keep you posted on this process and the response I receive from the journal editors. I am pleased that this latest paper provides the most complete and up to date profile of Congress 60’s history, philosophy, and methods of treatment, and that it will increase international interest in Congress 60.
Thank you for sharing with me the video that was directed by Shani. It is hard to capture the vibrancy of Congress 60 in written words alone, and this video provides images and messages that make Congress 60 come alive to viewers. Please congratulate everyone involved in its production. The stigma attached to addiction will prevail only in the absence of the faces and voices of individuals and families in successful recovery.
