The 11th session of the 74th round of Congress 60 workshops in the Academy branch of Congress 60 was administered on December 29th, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. by Mr. Dezhakam as the guest speaker and Ms. Azam as the secretary. The agenda was “OT (Opium Tincture)”.
We have to thank the people serving in the OT section, but we have to thank OT itself, we want to see what OT is. Over 970 individuals are working in the OT section and they work very carefully. We have to be thankful to them. In this week, the members working in the OT section can be invited for the sessions as the guest speaker.
As we initiated Congress 60, we started our work with opium and we decided to cure addiction with decreasing the number of inhalations of smoking drugs. Once I went to Tabriz to one families’ house. He smoked heavily and I realized that smoking opium does not work appropriately for those who wanted to be liberated from addiction. On the other hand, there was a heavy crime to carry drugs, and they exiled the addicts carrying more than one kilogram of opium to distant areas.
In that strict situation, we wanted to declare that to be liberated from addiction, addicts have to consume opium and the country’s authorities accepted that consuming opium (and gradually decreasing the amount) is effective and then the OT was made. The medical system also denied us and they rejected the use of OT. After they observed the effectual results of OT, they realized that it worked well and they accepted OT and one of top authorities of Iran declared that: “the only reason why we let OT be made and distributed was Mr. Dezhakam and his pupils”.
Then, they started producing and distributing OT in clinics and this was amazing. They first were against us and afterwards they saw how effective it was. OT is a bilateral surgical knife (scalpel), in the hand of a wise man, it is like a diamond. No diamond and no gold can equal Opium, if it is used appropriately and in future it will be found how it will amazingly cure different diseases. I hope we can thank the OT serving members and appreciate their work.
Congress 60 are wearing colorful clothing and it is very nice. All Congress 60 members have to wear white shirt and colorful coats and it is very nice and I hope all ladies and gentlemen wear the same.
