از دریافت آخرین نامهتان بسیار خوشحال شدم. با وجود تمام عدم قطعیتهایی که جنگ به همراه دارد، هر هفته مشتاقانه منتظرم تا از سلامتی و امنیت شما اطمینان پیدا کنم و از تازهترین اخبار اجتماع کنگره ۶۰ باخبر شوم.
متأسفم که به دلیل ادامه دوران بهبودیام از سرطان، نمیتوانم برای کنگره دانش اعتیاد امسال سخنرانیای آماده کنم. روند بهبودیام پیشرفت داشته است، اما هنوز توان ازسرگیری فعالیتهای حرفهای را ندارم و تنها میتوانم به مهمترین ایمیلها پاسخهای کوتاهی بدهم.
اینکه توانستهاید در میان اختلالات ناشی از جنگ، خدمات حمایتی اصلی خود را حفظ کنید، گواهی بر استحکام و قدرت کنگره ۶۰ است. فوقالعادهتر اینکه در چنین شرایطی، امکانات و خدمات تازهای برای زنان نیز در حال توسعه است. اغلب درباره درمان زنانی که از طریق کنگره ۶۰ به دنبال رهایی از اعتیاد هستند، از من سؤال میشود و خوشحالم که میتوانم این تازهترین پیشرفتها را با دیگران در میان بگذارم. چنین خدمات تخصصیای برای جذب زنان و حفظ حضور آنان در فرایند بهبودی و نیز بهبود نتایج بلندمدت آن ضروری است.شیوه طراحی این خدمات از سوی شما، نمایانگر پیشرفتهترین سطح دانش و هنر درمان زنان مبتلا به اعتیاد است.
مشتاقانه منتظر انتشار تازهترین مقالههای شما هستم. شما از دیرباز نویسندهای پرکار بودهاید، اما افزایش سرعت انتشار این آثار از سوی شما و همکارانتان، دستاوردی چشمگیر و مهم است. امسال چند مقاله من نیز منتشر شد که پیش از تشخیص سرطان برای انتشار ارسال کرده بودم. از ماه ژانویه تاکنون، به دلیل ناتوانی ناشی از سرطان و درمانهای مربوط به آن، نتوانستهام کار نوشتاری قابلتوجهی انجام دهم.
همیشه به فعالیتهای شما در مزرعه علاقهمندم و بهویژه از عکسهایی که برایم میفرستید، بسیار سپاسگزارم.

Dear Hossein,
I was most pleased to receive your latest communication. With all the uncertainties that war brings, each week I eagerly await confirmation of your health and safety and news from the Congress 60 community.
I regret that I will not be able to prepare a presentation for this year’s Congress on Addiction Science due to my continued cancer recovery. There is progress in my recovery, but I am not yet able to commence professional activities beyond brief responses to the most important emails.
It is a testament to Congress 60’s resilience and strength that you have been able to maintain core support services amidst the disruptions of the war. It is even more remarkable that given these circumstances, new resources for women are in active development. I am often asked questions about the treatment of women seeking recovery through Congress 60 and am delighted I will be able to share these latest advancements. Such specialized services are essential for attracting and retaining women in a recovery process and enhancing long-term recovery outcomes. Your design of these services represents the state of the science and art of treatment for addicted women.
I look forward to publication of your latest papers. You have long been a prolific writer but the increased pace of these publications by you and your co-authors is quite an achievement and an important one. I have had a few papers reach publication this year that were submitted before my cancer diagnosis. I have been unable to do any significant writing since January due to incapacitation from cancer and its related treatments.
I am always interested in your activities at the farm and am particularly appreciative of the photos that you share with me.
