از شما بابت ارسال ویدئوی مراسم فارغ‌التحصیلی راهنمایان DST و همچنین عکس‌هایی که موفقیت در مدیریت وزن سالم در کنگره ۶۰ را نشان می‌دهد، سپاسگزارم. تبریک صمیمانه من به همه افرادی که در این فعالیت‌ها مشارکت داشتند. این تصاویر واقعاً تحولات شگفت‌انگیزی از بهبود سلامت و شادابی را به نمایش می‌گذارند.
برای کنگره بین‌المللی علوم اعتیاد که در پیش دارید، بهترین آرزوها را دارم. بسیار خوشحال شدم که دوباره در این پنل حضور دارم و امیدوارم همه ارائه‌های این پنل با استقبال خوبی روبه‌رو شوند. تعداد درخواست‌هایی که برای ارائه در این کنفرانس‌های بزرگ درمان اعتیاد دریافت می‌کنید، نشان‌دهنده نفوذ بین‌المللی روزافزون کنگره ۶۰ است.
پس از ماه‌ها تلاش همگی ما، بسیار خوشحال‌کننده است که مقاله اخیرمان به یکی از مجلات معتبر حوزه اعتیاد ارسال شده و پاسخ اولیه مثبت از سردبیران مجله دریافت کرده‌ایم. هنوز مرحله داوری پیش رو داریم که ممکن است نیاز به اصلاحاتی داشته باشد، اما امیدوارم این نخستین مقاله از دو مقاله اخیر ما به دست مخاطبان گسترده و علاقه‌مند برسد. این مقاله اخیر بدون پاسخ‌های شما به بسیاری از پرسش‌هایی که در طول سال گذشته مطرح کردم، قابل تکمیل نبود. این تبادل‌ها دید عمیق‌تری از فلسفه و روش‌های کنگره ۶۰ به من بخشید.
امیدوارم دکتر ساراپاس و کندیس موتون به‌زودی بتوانند برای کار روی مقاله دوم بازگردند. ما همچنان با انواع تهدیدها و عدم قطعیت‌ها در زمینه تحقیقات مراقبت‌های بهداشتی تحت شرایط سیاسی کنونی در ایالات متحده مواجه هستیم که برای تحقیقات مرتبط با اعتیاد بسیار مخرب بوده است. این مسئله بر میزان زمانی که کارکنان تحقیق می‌توانند به پروژه‌های خاصی مانند پروژه ما اختصاص دهند، تأثیر گذاشته است. با این حال، موسسه چست‌نات به کار ما متعهد بوده و امیدوارم کار بر روی مقاله دوم در ماه‌های آینده ادامه یابد.
این عدم قطعیت همچنین بر خدمات درمان اعتیاد نیز تأثیر گذاشته و بسیاری از سازمان‌ها نگرانند که شاید مجبور به کاهش خدمات خود در آینده شوند. چنین شرایطی اثر منفی بر افرادی که به دنبال خدمات هستند و خانواده‌های آنان دارد. نگرانی من این است که این خدمات در حالی که ادعاهای سیاسی بر بهبود شرایط مطرح می‌شود، رو به زوال برود.
پاییز زمان دل‌انگیزی از سال است با همه تغییرات و نمایش‌های رنگارنگش، هرچند در فلوریدا بسیاری از این تغییرات رنگی زیبا را از دست می‌دهیم. بهترین آرزوها را برایتان دارم برای مراسم فشردن سیب و انگور.

Thank you for sharing the video of the graduation ceremony for the DST guides and for the photos demonstrating success in healthy weight management within Congress 60. My congratulations to all involved in these activities. The photos demonstrate remarkable transformations of improved health and vitality.
I wish you the best for the upcoming International Congress on Addiction Science. I was delighted to be included in the panel again and hope all the panel presentations will be well-received. The number of requests you receive to present at these major addiction treatment conferences is evidence of the growing international influence of Congress 60.
After so many months of labor from all of us, it is a great relief to have our latest article submitted to a major addiction s journal and to have a warm initial response from the journal editors. We still have the peer review process to face, which may require some revisions, but hopefully this first of our two latest papers will reach a large and appreciative audience. This latest article could not have been completed without all of your responses to the many questions I posed to you over the past year. Those exchanges provided me with an even deeper insight into the philosophy and methods of Congress 60.
I am hoping that Dr. Sarapas and Candace Mouton will be able to return soon to work on our second article. We continue to face all manner of threats and uncertainty related to health care research under the current political administration in the U.S. that have been very disruptive to addiction-related research. This has affected the time of research staff that can be allotted to special projects like ours. But Chestnut has been very committed to our work so I am hopeful that work on our second paper can proceed in the coming months.
The uncertainty related to addiction research has also affected addiction treatment services with many organizations fearing they may have to cut back services in the future. Such uncertainty has a negative effect on individuals and families seeking services. My fear is that such services will erode amidst political claims that they are better than they have ever been.
Fall is a delightful time of year with all of its transitions and multi-hued displays, although we miss many of those beautiful color transitions here in Florida. My best wishes to you for the apple and grape pressing.
