بابت نامه آخر سپاسگزارم. خوشحالم که می‌شنوم که چند هفته آتی از تعطیلات لذت خواهید برد. همه ما به چنین زمان‌هایی نیاز داریم تا از کارهای روزمره فاصله بگیریم و با خانواده باشیم. دیدار من با خواهرانم مرا پر از انرژی برای بهار کرده است.
از زمانی که به خانه رسیده‌ام روی فرمت بندی و ادیت کتابمان کار کردم. خوشحالم که تصمیم گرفتم که دوباره به طور کامل آن را بازبینی کنم تا مطمئن شوم بهترین حالت ممکن را دارد. همچنین با توجه به دستورالعمل اخیر شما جلد کتاب و صفحه کپی رایت را انجام خواهم داد. فکر می‌کنم تصمیم شما برای اضافه نکردن عکس بهترین تصمیم است و با هدف اصلی کتاب همخوانی دارد و تمرکز اصلی را روی نوشتار نگه می‌دارد.
در هفته‌های آتی روی کتاب کار خواهم کرد و برای فرمت بندی از افراد فنی کمک خواهم گرفت. زمانی که این کار به پایان رسید پیش‌نویس نهایی را برای تأیید شما می‌فرستم و سپس کتاب و خبر در دسترس بودن آن را منتشر خواهم کرد.
شاید این کار به خاطر بعضی اعمال پزشکی که پزشکان من تجویز می‌کنند کندتر انجام شود. اما انتظار دارم که نسخه انگلیسی کتاب و انتشار آن تا پایان ماه ژوئن به اتمام برسد.
تبریکات عمیق من را به خاطر پیشرفت همکاری تحقیقات با دانشگاه بریستول پذیرا باشید. من فکر می‌کنم که این همکاری در سال‌های آینده بسیار نتایج خوبی خواهد داشت و جایگاه کنگره ۶۰ در اجتماعات تحقیقات پزشکی را بالا خواهد برد.
همان‌طور که می‌دانید بیشتر تحقیقات در حوزه اعتیاد روی فارماکولوژی داروهای روان‌گردان متمرکز شده‌اند و آسیب‌های استفاده شدید از مواد را منتشر کردند و متدهای خلاصه برای درمان اعتیاد ارائه کردند.
آن چیزی که تحقیق کنگره ۶۰ را از این تحقیقات جدا می‌کند تمرکز آن روی ریکاوری بلندمدت و متدهای آن برای فراهم کردن ریکاوری فردی و خانوادگی و همچنین نتایجی است که نشان می‌دهد کیفیت زندگی افراد بعد از درمان افزایش داشته است.
این تمرکز بر راه‌حل و نه مشکل، انتشارات کنگره ۶۰ را از دیگر تحقیقات متمایز می‌کند. خود این تغییر از تمرکز بر روی راه‌حل به جای مشکل به تنهایی میراثی برای کنگره ۶۰ است.

Dear Hossein,
Thank you for your latest communication. I am delighted to hear that you will be enjoying holidays this next few weeks. We all need such respite and refreshment and time to be with family without the routine demands of our lives. I came back very rejuvenated following my visit with my sisters and am welcoming Spring with new energies.
Since arriving home, I have been doing further work with the editing and formatting of our book manuscript. I am glad I decided to review it completely just to make sure it is as close to perfect as possible. Also, I will follow your latest instructions on handling the book cover and copyright page. I think your decision on not including photos is best and fits with the overall tenor of the book and maintaining the focus on the text. I will continue to work on this in the coming weeks and will also seek some technical assistance with the final formatting. When this work is complete, I will share a final draft for your approval before posting the book and disseminating announcements related to its availability. This work may be slowed by some pending medical procedures that my doctors are recommending, but I expect we will be able to complete work on the English version of the book and have it posted by the end of June.
Deepest congratulations on the progress of your research collaboration with your colleagues from Bristol University. I think this collaboration will bear much fruit in the years to come and enhance the esteem in which Congress 60 is held within the medical research community.
As you know, most research in the addictions field has focused on the pharmacology of psychoactive drugs, detailing the pathologies of excessive drug use, and describing the methods of brief models of addiction treatment. What I think will distinguish the research of Congress 60 is its focus on the long-term recovery process and the methods that produce such personal and family recoveries as well as the resulting enhancements in quality of life. This emphasis not on the problem but on the solution will distinguish the published work on Congress 60. That shift alone will be a lasting legacy for Congress 60.
Please extend my warmest greetings and best wishes to your family and to all members of Congress 60. Their renewed lives are shining a beacon of hope to the world.
