An Interview with Traveler Siavash Ahmadi, the Best Beach Rugby Player in the Country in 2018

An Interview with Traveler Siavash Ahmadi, the Best Beach Rugby Player in the Country in 2018

  • Could you please introduce yourself the way you do in Congress 60?

Hello friends! I am Siavash, a traveler; my last anti-X was opium and alcohol, my treatment lasted twelve months by the DST method, and with OT, under the guidance of my guide-assistant,  Mr. Babak, I have been liberated from addiction for 3 years and a half. Afterward, I started the Nicotine treatment. My anti-X was smoking cigarettes, my treatment lasted about ten months by the DST method, with oral nicotine, and now it is about two years I am free from smoking.

  • How long have you been engaged in Rugby, and how did you get acquainted with this field of sport?

I chose Rugby during my second travel after my redemption at the beginning of the year 2016. I was given the message of Rugby by Mr. Salami in Taleghani park. Since then, I have had the honor of knowing and attending Congress 60 Rugby Club.

  • You were selected as the best Beach Rugby player in the year 2018. Will you tell us your opinion about it?

The honor I received was a blessing from Congress 60. Because we, in the Congress60’s team, won the National Championship in Sari that year, the national Rugby sports officials were kind to grant me this title.

  • What is the status of Congress 60 Rugby these days?

Since the time I entered this field, it has been progressing every day. Regular training, and the presence of a compassionate head coach, Mr. Behnam Mohammadi has led to the development of this sport in Congress 60.

  • Did you anticipate this success in the early days of playing Rugby?

As a matter of fact, I never thought about it at all. My teammates persuaded me to exercise for health because I was overweight. But thank God I was on the path to heroism, and I feel pretty happy these days.

  • How much did you weigh when you started Rugby, and what is your weight now?

I weighed 150 kilograms when I entered the Rugby club. At the same time, I started traveling in the Jones Legion (the Legion for tackling obesity problems.) When I was done, I was about 114 kilograms, but now again I am 120.

  • Mr. Siavash, do you have a national record in your athletic career?

I participated in the World beach Rugby Championships in Italy in 2018, with the Pasargad team (Iran's representative.) For a while, in 2017, I was invited to the national 15’s Rugby team camp in Khorasan to be sent to Uzbekistan, but unfortunately, I was not sent.

  • Can you send a message to the travelers of Congress 60 Human Revivification society?

I am not in the position of giving a message The title I have gained today is insignificant compared to the impossible things many travelers do in Congress 60. If you tell drug consumers to come to Congress60 to be treated and then become the champion in any sports you like, it will be hard for them to believe.

But thank God I got familiar with Congress 60 and was led from darkness to light.

I was never smart, I was not in a great financial situation, I was a drug user, and I had a lot of problems when I entered Congress 60. I didn't think about anything but my treatment, I just wanted to be a normal person when I woke up in the morning. There are many people in Congress60 whose situations are the same as mine in the past; I just tell them that my conditions got improved with less than half of the congress 60’s instructions.

  • Tell us who helped you with this path?

First of all, I would like to thank the founder of the Congress 60, Mr. Dezhakam, and his respected family, and then Mr. Salami, my good guide-assistant Mr. Shahram Samadi and Mr. Babak Parsari, Mr. Behnam Samadi, my nicotine treatment guide-assistant, and Mr. Milad Takzibi.  And a big Thank you to Mr. Bahador Mohammadi, for allowing me to be present in the sports field.

  • And the last word in this conversation?

I thank all my loved ones in Congress 60 who gave me energy, and here I would like to thank all my fellow travelers, my dear sister, who has been both a mother and a sister for me. I know I can never compensate for her efforts even after treatment, I will kiss her hands and be thankful for all her efforts.

Thank you for giving me your time in this interview.
