Hello, I am Hossein, a traveler.
Hope you are fine and thank God I am very well.
This week’s agenda is Guide’s Week and I congratulate this week to all.
Last week’s topic was about etiquette and I definitely believe in that motto which say “Human’s morality costs more than his/her properties” whatever a person is more informed and conversant, makes him/her more calm, whoever is more wise is more able to accept his/her faults and vice versa whoever is more unwise, willing to refuse faults, because S/he supposes it scratches his/her personality.
Humanity is comprehended by morality. A moral person is so popular and likable and an impolite person hurts himself unconsciously.
Congress 60’s guides have gone through an evolutionary way during these years. The structure that has planned for being a guide in Congress 60 is an exclusive one that I have not seen it elsewhere. In other NGOs there are some guides too, in order to withdraw from addiction. Actually they exclaim that they are guide immediately after their own sobriety and there is no supervisory board for qualifications.

There were some people in the past who had shaven head and eyebrows in order to fight with their Ego and they only had served people and did nothing, they were called “Kalandar” but there are some people that they think being a Kalandar is only about having a shaved head and eyebrows,but there are a thousand points finer than a hair here that they do not know about serving people.
Being a guide is a really critical seat which makes several questions like: Is s/he a trustworthy person? Does s/he have the main knowledge in order to guide people? Is s/he able to be responsible for guiding others? Does s/he have the mentioned moral and behavioral authority?
How a person who is insecure about himself and have several ethical problems can guide others?
Guidance is more serious and grave even than teaching, because when a teacher teaches a lesson if s/she teaches in a wrong way nothing so critical would happen but it is quite different in guidance because every simple fault can makes disaster in traveler’s whole life.
I mentioned that whoever wants to be guide is supposed to know the DST method and the knowledge of Worldview so for this purpose we determined the exam like all universities which divides into two chapters, one of them is technical exam and the other is worldview exam.
The entrance exam has gradually developed until we only accept the one who can get at least 17 point out of 20 for each exam, it means among 100 participants only 10 are able to get the maximum point and after the exam their guides should confirm them and after this process they all have an interview with me.
After the guidance process we determined the legions and also the family legions in order to teach them exactly the same lessons that travelers should know. After this act our efficiency has incredibly raised up until we has reached upper than 70 liberations per week and we had also 3199 liberations at 1395 (in the solar calendar).
The most developed countries are looking for our information and knowledge in addiction field, for example I received an email from National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) at early in the morning which belongs to all nations and Dr. Nora Volkow is its director, this achievement is because our information are accurate and capable.
Guides serve on voluntary basis and their biggest reward is when they lead their student towards the liberation and make them able to catch it, according to this we must respect them and a guide should treat in a reverential way which makes him more respectful. If a guide only speaks with anger it destroys all his planted.
Guides give a gift to their students that no one can give them, they actually give them the liberation. There are guides who bring the students out of darkness.

I wrote a letter for William White in the morning and I mentioned that if I want to compare Congress 60 travelers with NA members I must mention that a NA member must do efforts up to maybe 50 times more than a Congress 60 traveler in order to become sober. In other words a NA member must fight each and every day to remain sober but for a Congress 60 traveler this fight does not exist and members spend treatment period quite easily and even with a joy, these are the presents that a guide give to his students. Therefor all students must appreciate their own guide in this week, each two groups of travelers & fellow travelers are supposed to do it.
We believe that appreciate from creature is as same as appreciate from creator.
Guides are not waiting for our appreciate, it is our duty to do it even a person who is guide right now and have students should do it because definitely he has a guide too, we should learn this culture as a human.
If we do it today, our children will do it tomorrow because it is a culture, an appreciate culture.
It is the way that we will be able to gain our liberation’s number and survive lots of families; a person who has the orang or blue scarf today, was a person who had been in trouble and his/her life was going to terrible but it did not happen. (Orange scarf is the sign of co-guide and Blue scarf is the sign of guide who fostered at least 3 co-guides and rendered his/her thesis to Congress 60)
Dr. Ali Rabiei, Minister of Cooperatives, Labour and Social Welfare of Islamic Republic of Iran attended in Talaqani Park last Friday, he told me we should duplicate your hospitality in all fields of circulating the country.
Thus we should appreciate together in rest of our life, when our mother makes a meal for us we should be thankful, if our wife gives us a cup of tea we should appreciate this action.
We are living in a period of time which people do illegal work in order to earn money but there are some devoted people who give us all their energy to lead us to liberation so we should respect them and appreciate their work.
I congratulate this week again and we should remember every legion has 3 sides 1-guide 2-student 3-sources
