I always enjoy your communications and learn more about Congress 60 with each added email from you. The number of people participating in Congress 60 and the results are quite impressive and yet it is hard to capture the degree to which lives have been transformed by such numbers. Only the personal story of each member can reveal such transformations, but much can be seen from the faces in the photographs that you send me.
Your elaboration of the balanced emphasis on the body, psyche and the social within Congress 60 is appreciated. As I mentioned, most of the treatments in the U.S. emphasize one of these dimensions to the exclusion of all others. That balance you have achieved is hard to reach and sustain.
My very best to the Congress 60 rugby team during the Qatar competitions. The coached and players stand as living proof of the transformative power of recovery achieved within Congress 60. Thank you also for the photos from the Noruz ceremony. I so enjoy the photos you send.
I am continuing to interview some of the modern leaders of addiction treatment in the U.S. so that future historians will have these to help tell the story of the modern evolution of addiction treatment and recovery support in the U.S. Some of the latest interview will be of those leaders who investigated the effects of addiction and recovery on the family. What are your views on how children affected by parental addiction can best be supported? Are there Congress 60 activities in which children are involved?
The opioid epidemic (both heroin and prescription opioids) here in the U.S. has taken a great toll in lives lost each day to overdoses and its devastation on individuals and families. New legislation is in process that will hopefully add more resources for treatment and recovery support, but I continue to worry about the quality of such treatment.
As I reflect on the work we have done these past years, we have much to be proud of; but the toll addiction continues to take is very humbling. We will continue to bring light into this darkness as best we can.

I hope you are fine, I am well.
Noruz holidays are behind us, your Emails always pours me with energy, as you are well aware our communications after being translated to Farsi by Ehsan are posted on our Persian website and lots of people are following this communication.
The above mentioned was being done at English section as well but it wasn’t well-organized but from now on it will be done regularly.
I believe these communications will become part of history of addiction treatment within our countries. Should be there a part that you are not willing to be published inform me kindly.
I am writing a book called “How are you?” this book’s target will be both Congress 60 members and other people.
I hope that I will be able to complete it until the end of spring. Another book which is being prepared is titled “The articles” and it is consisted of my key articles on addiction and I hope that the latter book will be published in Farsi until the end of spring as well.
We have a tradition at Congress 60 that we title each year to do a specific task.
“Curb smoking within Congress 60, and strengthen William White legions” was the slogan of the previous year.
The current year’s slogan is: “buy the proper land to establish academy”
Last year we were unable to buy the proper land. I hope that we will benefit from your spiritual and scientific supports in forming this academy. I thoroughly believe that the today’s addiction treatment methods will not bring great results. These methods needs to be revised.
If we are to achieve results in addiction treatment we must abandon the notion of simple causation in physiological section. I have declared three components here:
1. Proper medicine
2. Calculated dosages
3. Calculated timing for taking dosages
As far as I know the above mentioned is not being implemented from north to south and east to west of the planet earth.
We will discuss the above mentioned in future communications if you are interested in that.
I am delighted that you are doing interviews with addiction treatment leaders of the U.S. and I hope that your blog will be ready soon so that we can share some of our addiction treatment contents with them.

What do you advice?
Education processes at Congress 60 are being carried out on family basis mostly. As you are aware the exam context to become eligible for co-guiding is the same for travelers and co-travelers. Families and children are participated in most of Congress 60’s activities.
Fridays which are our holidays, we have two main sections at our sports (Taleghani Park). One is for men travelers and another part is allocated for ladies and children.
I will send some photos regarding above mentioned later.
My older daughter, Ani whom I call the archer, is the Didehban of ladies and children sports activities.
Dear friend, you mentioned the overdoses. Perhaps it is unbelievable that during these past 16 years that I have utilized opium and after that OT for tens of thousands of drug abusers not even a single overdose happened! (Of course I mean utilizing OT with the DST method).
I think the reason is that we educate the travelers afterward we provide them the medicine (OT).
What needs to be mentioned and may dazzle people is that we provide them the needed OT for during of a week! And in this case the rate of overdoses must be high but not a single overdose is reported. The reason must be the education mainly.
One of the most important tasks that we did together was the DST method for smoking and William White legions. Today these legions are so active and smokers are rare.
Those who smoke within Congress 60 are not granted any responsibilities and from the Congress 60’s viewpoint he is still an addict.
I thank you for all the help and support that you provided and I have learnt many things from you throughout these years. You opened my eyes to addiction treatment of the world.
