I hope you are fine, I am well. You said about rain and snow, snow and rain are blessings of God which makes the springs and rivers full of water, it makes the jungles green, it makes water resources full, farms yielding. It is like the earth becomes the heaven for this snowing and raining. But lack of snowing and raining will make earth dry, mother’s breasts without milk, children’s lips dry, and poverty and hunger will grow, like it changes earth to hell.
Dear friend, this year I participated in planting ceremony like before and I have planted one tree until now, I hope that I will plant more trees this year. Fortunately most of our branches in Tehran and other cities had one day camps of planting this year, I am sending some photos.
You have asked about the activities of Congress 60 toward decreasing the stigmas of addiction.
Answer: we continuously participate in TV programs, radio programs, magazine interviews. We always have at least one interview of Congress 60 members published in a famous weekly magazine. I don’t know of any NGOs in Iran which is as active as Congress 60 in media and magazines.
2. Utilizing the internet
Congress 60’s website with 30,000 viewers daily is one the biggest recovery websites which shows the ability of drug abusers and is active in decreasing the stigmas of addiction. Consider this that the Congress 60’s website has 500 weblogs working with it. These weblogs belong to variety of legions of different branches and these weblogs are active as well. These weblogs are active in showing the true road of harm reduction, prevention, and prolonged recovery and so on thus these weblogs are working against the stigmas of addiction.
3. Our friendship and collaboration with Government organizations, NGOs. Officials, universities, physicians and specialists is helping so much. We always try to transform pessimism, negativism, and enmity to friendship and collaboration.
4. Participating in different public sports fields and art's field.
And last but not the least, my dear friend, the key point is the true treatment of the DST method and OT. In other words, the true approach to treatment and prolonged recovery is the most important key. If the true treatment was not performed then I wouldn't be able to do any of these above mentioned.
Dear Bill, I think the “X theory” is not only capable of true and correct addiction treatment, but it is also capable of curing many of today’s incurable diseases. I hope one day, they will realize the importance of this theory.
