Dear Hossein,
It is a strange commentary on the world that you and I have to create our own post office system to exchange gifts, but what good news that the growth of Congress 60 and the international dispersion of its members allow us to do that. I think we have found the solution to our problem.
I do not know if there are any special difficulties we will encounter in trying to publish the love book as an e-book through Amazon or Createspace. I will need to do some research on this and see if this would be possible, and if so, the needed steps to do it. I will discuss this with Rita as she knows a lot more about such publishing than I do. I will let you know what I discover.
Thank you for sharing the photos of the tree planting this year. This is one of my favorite of your many ceremonies and I particularly enjoyed seeing children being part of the ceremony. What a wonderful legacy of memories these children will have as in later life they visit the trees they once helped plant.
I wish you and your family and all members of Congress 60 an enjoyable spring holiday. Rita and I have many family visitors this month so we are very busy and will look forward to resting next month.
One of the things that has accompanied the weeks following my recent illness and the passing of my mother is a marked loss of energy. I mentioned this to you earlier and wanted you to know that my energy has begun to slowly return. At my age, bouncing back from these physical and emotional challenges is not as fast as it was in my younger years. As you so often tell me, we must take care of ourselves if we are to continue to serve.
