two theses written by “Mr. Mohammad Sedaghat” and “Mr. Ali Sedaghat”, guides of Congress 60, were chosen as the best research thesis in drug addiction field and received prize.

9th Festivals on written materials on drug matters

 

Closing ceremony of 9th Festivals on written materials on drug matters was held on Dec 18th, 2011 by the department for research, studies and training of the DCHQ.

Identification and encouragement of the researchers and writers addressing the drug dilemma and coordination in the drug-related materials and literature were among the goals of the event. The event lists among measures to create incentives to scholars and researches to embark on the research works in the domain of the drug control.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Mostafa Mohammad Najjar (Minister of the Interior and Secretary General of DCHQ) said a unilateral approach to the drug issue would not be effective in immunizing the human societies against the scourge of drug addiction. Hence the researches should be developed to address the drug problem.

Up to 250 research works received by the officials for the event, and two theses written by “Mr. Mohammad Sedaghat” and “Mr. Ali Sedaghat”, guides of Congress 60, were chosen as the best research thesis in drug addiction field and received prize.
