The second session of the tenth round of Physicians’ Legion was hold in Taleqani Park on October 21, 2016 at 8 o’clock by Mr. Samad as the guest speaker, Mr. Dezhakam as the master of the ceremony and Ms. Qazal as the secretary, with the agenda of “the second valley and its influence on me”.
Samad:
The second valley says: “No creature comes into existence without a purpose; none of us are insignificant even if we think of ourselves as that.” The second valley, like the first one, is much related to thinking. Without thinking everything will decline and here in the second valley having a goal is significant for human beings. The creation of humans is special so that each individual has a great role which cannot be devolved to another person. Wrong contemplation, moving toward anti vices acts, failures and all the calamities, that individuals make for their families and themselves, get them unconfident and confused. All of his/her thoughts are negative and s/he will finally surrender the negative issues.
S/he considers fraudulence and bribery as values and cleverness. The only way to save includes moving toward contemplating and as his/her way of thinking enhances, her/his capacity will increase more and doesn’t surrender to calamities any more.
There are conscious and unconscious forces in humans, which will make them experience futility if they are static and motionless. While thinking, human beings face a dilemma, the dilemma of darkness and light. Sometimes people need darkness in their life and the one who saves from this darkness will become a skillful teacher. We don’t have enough knowledge about everything in the world, for example, if African vultures that don’t do their job well, the world will be spread and enfolded in pollution.
We have not been left to ourselves but there are forces which support us provided that we are in the right path. There are necessary rules throughout the universe which should be obeyed and applied by every individual to have peace and comfort in life.
Ardeshir:
Regarding the topics, like absurdity, futility and life, which have been referred to in the second valley we will find out the story of humanity. Perhaps man has explored all concepts in the world to reach the present point. We are supposed to have the universe in ourselves but not physically.
Why do some people don’t move? Maybe they have no aims for their lives and they think that everything is in what they can see, in fact they don’t believe in the spirituality. Congress 60 uses spirituality to treat addiction saying: Have a look at your body and try to answer: “Why are you so lonely and depressed? Why don’t you show no movement? Why are asking so many negative questions from yourself?” Thus people find their essence little by little and try to step in a way that leads to a high level of position.
Behnam:
The title of the second valley is not just related to addicts and addiction but for all those who may have experienced the sense of disappointment and desperation. There is a significant difference between the situations in which we have a negative view toward a problem and the ones with positive views. One of the most difficult cases is those who don’t believe in the treatment. Treatment comes true if there is a belief. It is hard to make someone exit from the world of despair and lead him/her to that of hope. There is a discussion in psychology saying no one is going to come; if we stand on our own feet and have a hopeful view toward the problems, they will definitely be solved.
Fereshta:
Since all human beings have the spirite of God in them, it is clear that no one has been created without any goals. God has created the Creation from the opposites, so there are opposites in humans like vices and values. Sometimes, because of the problems and depressions, we have forgotten the existence of God spirit in ourselves by which we can change potential power into actual one. When we say the sick (addicts who refer to clinics or congress 60) should take an action for treatment on their own, we want them to find themselves and their own free will helps them to get to the best way.
Ahmad:
It was so interesting for me to know what the effect of the valley was on me. Long ago before I got familiar with the valley and Mr. Dezhakam, I always wonder why I had been created, why I had come to the world, what was my duty, …and I finally found that in all aspects of my personal and social life as a husband, a physician and a citizen I have responsibilities to take on correctly or try take steps in the right way that is too difficult.
When I assume a goal for myself and try to draw my own painting (as Mr. Dezhakam has advised us to do) , I should play my part in the best way. How can I take steps in the right path? How can I serve my countrymen? As I got familiar with the second valley, I had more goals in my life. I want to refer to the CD called “Article” in Congress 60.
Mr. Dezhakam has introduced Congress 60 and DST Method in the CD and I felt both regretful and happy that Congress 60 is introduced to the world; and most developed centers active in addiction treatment throughout the world (that have more prior knowledge in most fields than our country) will come to Mr. Dezhakam and learn about the method. I feel regretful because the method is so oppressed in our country; however I congratulate that it is the introduction for Congress 60 to be globalized.
Azam:
As I was listening to the second valley CD I remembered Mr. Nilchi’s word: “If we omit God from Humans’ lives, what do we give them instead? As other friends talked about spirituality and paying attention to it, humans will be left alone without God. Regarding the examples Mr. Dezhakam gave in the CD, I found out Humans’ being has a significant role. The valley suggests what really forms the essence of human is so important. Mr. Dezhakam introduces 3 travels for treatment of people in congress 60; the first, from abusing drugs to stop abusing, then getting to oneself, and at last getting to the One God. If individuals conceive all these concepts, they will never experience disappointment.
Mohammad:
I wonder why Congress 60 has been succeeded. Some say there is nothing special in the valleys but I have understood them well after 4 years of repetition. As therapists we are practically involved in the sick people’s self-confidence because addiction ruins self-confidence. If we instill confidence into the sick (addicts) treatment will be continued and they will succeed.
Jahanfar:
I ask a question: “what job is the worst in our country now?” The answer is Medicine. We have no good picture of ourselves in our mind because there is a bad thing called perfectionism in physicians and we always think of our imperfection. This feeling refers to our childhood in which our parents implanted perfectionism in us.
If we are supposed to live in a primary society and we are going to evaluate ourselves from 0 to 100, I will feel desperate if I get the point “zero”, I will lose all my hope and try to find something to calm me down. As Mr.Dezhakam said, “Psychosomatic means that I feel disappointment if the amount of serotonin and dopamine lowers less than usual. Therefore I use ice and hashish and finally I will become an addict. We don’t know most of the things but we are selfish. Are there any differences between the tail of a plane and its head? Both of them are important; thus I shouldn’t boast in front of a sweeper. All roles are important in the path of perfection. Everything is summarized in the self’s picture; therefore we must change our worldview.
Masoud:
Rumi says beautifully: would that being had a tongue; that it might remove the veils from existent beings. If being had a tongue, we would learn that nothing has been created without a purpose. Among all the creatures, human creation is a little strange. We are such a creature that sometimes we think we are nothing and sometimes we consider ourselves everything. If we want to get to God we need to know ourselves first. If we want to know ourselves we have two options: we accept ourselves or we don’t. If we don’t, we should ask ourselves “why?”. Because I am addict, I am bankrupt, I failed in sport,… . All these don’t mean that I am nothing but I found my drawbacks.
So I need to think more and find the solution. Mr. Dezhakam said in the CD, “Think and find a way to solve the problem then you find out that you exist. But when we consider ourselves so big and important the situation will be dangerous. The difference between my view and my colleagues’ is derived from this fact. They talk about addicts contemptuously while they (addicts) are good and prominent people. I sometimes think that it is nothing but God’s providence because those who experience darkness appreciate light very well.
Calamities showed me that values are something else. Most people make fun of honest people and consider fraudulent ones as clever. We must change this views and know that being good is good and being bad is bad.
Hossein:
Next week agenda is about the CD “Article” and we will focus on addiction so that we survey different elements of addiction more. Congress 60’s Method is multipliable and scientific. Science includes the rules of alteration, transformation and redemption which indicate honesty and probity. Addiction treatment occurs just when there is no trace of addiction in the person. If the addict has problems such as craving, insomnia and sexual disorders after treatment it is not scientific.
Rugby team of Congress 60 has been the first-place winner of the Premier League and one day in the past its members have been addicts with tattoos. The director of NAIDA said, “We hope to find a medicine by which we can cure ice and cocaine addiction in the next ten years.” But we are doing it in Iran now. Rugby and archery are very heavy sports and their members in Congress 60 are samples and patterns of cured people. One of the most prominent researchers on the other side of the world has surveyed Congress 60’s Method and has published an article in the most significant scientific journal of the world while no one knows anything about it in our country! Congress 60 has put different elements together like drug therapy, recovery, companion, music,…. .all these facts must be transformed to others by this small scientific society.
If it is nonsense, tell me my words are not right. But if it is right, come and survey and study it. Fortunately we operate the method in clinics and it can be used by everyone and not just by Dezhakam, if so it is worthless. All physicians can use it in different cities of the country. Today Mr. Ahmad had two cases from Arak that were liberated from addiction. I hope we have many outputs (liberations) from all the clinics. We must try to have thriving clinics full of happiness, joy and income instead of uproar and outcry. I’m sure we reach this situation.
At the end of the session, we celebrated the liberation of 4 people who were cured in Hami Clinic. The physicians and travelers received their liberation flowers (symbol of liberation in Congress 60) from Mr. Dezhakam.
