The lessons of Ramadan

The seventh session of third round of the Shahreqods branch's private workshops for companions with the agenda of "Inspiration of by Ramadan" was held by Miss. Aida as the guest speaker, Ms. Shahla as the master of ceremony and Ms. Maryam as the secretary on June 6, 2016 at 3:00 pm.

 

 

A summary of speaker's remarks: 

First of all, I am glad that I attended in your branch with this nice agenda. And I congratulate you on Ramadan and I wish the best for you in this month.

There are 52 weeks in a year and Congress 60 determined 52 agendas for these 52 weeks. One of them is "Inspiration of Ramadan" which is exactly held in Ramadan. Many people are going to prepare some food for fasting in this month. But what is the real preparation for this month? Is it enough to prepare only some food?

As we all know, Mr. Dezhakam discovered DST method on Ramadan in 1997. Those days, Mr. Dezhakam used 5 grams of opium in irregular meals. In fact, fasting in this month makes him regulate the amount and time of using. What we see now in Congress 60  is the result of the movement which was formed in Ramadan. Actually, Ramadan was the light which determined the way of treatment. Because of this reason, Ramadan is so important in Congress 60 and it is highly and honorably celebrated by the members.

This month is an opportunity for all to revive their visible and hidden attributes.

DST method has a direct relation with fasting on Ramadan. We avoid eating and drinking at certain times of the day and we cannot eat food whenever we want. Also, in DST method, a person can use his medicine at certain times and he cannot use the OT whenever he wants. On the other hand, we try to avoid doing inappropriate and incorrect actions in thoughts, behaviors and talks on Ramadan. Similarly, a person avoids doing false acts by the educations he received from Congress 60.

Another similarity between Ramadan and Congress 60 is to restore the X-system of the body certainly. Hunger weakens the X-system and the first places of the body which receives the messages of lack of food, are the brain, the spinal cord and the nerve cells. As the result of this lacking, the production of natural drugs of the body will be reduced and so, the body will be restored. In fact, those who fast every year seem to have new body and most of them won't suffer from some diseases such as blood lipids and digestive problems and etc.

Some people have low tolerance point against food and as they see food, they eat it immediately and they cannot wait for a moment. This is a sign of low tolerance against demands. Actually, Ramadan teaches us to either say no to Sensuality demands or practice to do that. Generally, Ramadan increases our tolerance point in many things. And we should notice that Ramadan teaches us to train sensuality not to kill it. Indeed, Ramadan means ninth valley; "Tolerance is built when a force begins at a low level and gradually increases."

Fasting is not forbidden for second travelers and if first travelers want to fast, they should use their medicine (OT) on time besides fasting and they must not change the amount and the time of their medicine.

In the path of life where we move on, there are some tasks that we must do. For example, in the education system of our country, children must go to school when they are 6 years old; they should be away from their family for hours and they cannot play all the hours because of learning. In fact, if there was no compulsion, the children preferred to be at home and enjoy playing instead of learning. Because they cannot recognize that learning has benefits for their future. Therefore, it's their parents' duty to make them go to school and they will understand the reason in the future.

Similarly, God has assigned some tasks for humans in Ramadan just for improving them and these are compulsory for us to do and of course, God knows everything.

In this month, we feel some different senses by fasting like enjoying not to enjoy: Eating is a good pleasure and we enjoy eating during a day but we learn to enjoy not eating in Ramadan and this is a different feeling. It seems like that all of us enjoy talking but sometimes we just need to be silent and we enjoy our silence.

I thought that it was sufficient not to eat and drink in Ramadan but as I came to Congress 60 and learned its education, I understood that realizing this month's meaning is very important.

I sometimes examine my function at the end of the day and I score it to improve my positive points. Ramadan is the same;  we examine our performance and we see the positive and negative behaviors and so we can improve ourselves. 


In conclusion, Ramadan means reviving and hopefully, we can achieve Ramadan's blessing gradually and experience a different Ramadan.
