Dance of Life: the 8thAnniversary of Kamran' and Marjan' s Liberation from Addiction

The first session of the18th round of the Omman Samani branch, Shahrekord, was held on March 10th (2016) at 5 p.m under the mastery of traveler Abbas, and with the secretary of traveler Iraj, and traveler Hossein as the guest speaker. The agenda was "The Importance of Sleeping at night" and also "the 8th anniversary of Kamran' and Marjan' s Liberation" was celebrated.

The guest speaker's speech:

I am thankful to be here. All of you might be surprised because Kamran's  guide (Mr. Khoddami) was supposed to be in this position  today. Due to a problem, he could not attend this ceremony and he asked me to be here as the guest speaker.

If I want to be treated in Congress60, I have to observe the rules and one of these rules that we must obey is "SLEEP at NIGHT". Sleeping at night is of much importance for both first and second travelers. When we wanted to quit our addiction years ago (when we had not yet been familiar with Congress60), we experienced sleep problems. No one is able to name a problem bigger than a sleep disorder. Can you tell me "what torture is greater than the sleep disorder?" We all know that in Congress60, sleeping at night is of significant importance and this has been proved scientifically, because our X system can reconstruct itself when we take enough sleep at night. As Mr. Dezhakam mentioned: the triangle of "sleep" has the three sides of: a) appropriate time, b) appropriate place and c) appropriate thoughts.

If the person who sleeps at 1 a.m. decides to sleep at 10 p.m. from now on, he will not be able to do that, even if he does his best. The strategy to solve this problem is to start from the morning sleep and little by little change the hour of waking up, i. e. if a person wakes up at 10 a.m., s/he must replace this time with 9 a.m. and then change it to 8 a.m., and in last step over time, this wake-up can be done at 7 or 6 a.m. In this way, sleeping at night becomes regular and on-time. Then, the individual can wake up early in the morning and after consuming his/her morning dosage (of Opium Tincture), he is not able to sleep more. This means that the traveler's sleep pattern becomes normal and s/he can sleep early at night, and wake up early in the morning; moreover, s/he can do her/his routine chores.

Furthermore, today we are here to celebrate the 8th anniversary of Kamran' and Marjan' s Liberation from addiction. It is difficult for me to speak of this couple. I just mention what I have heard from Mr. Khodammi (Kamran's guide). The only picture that I have from this couple is that they have served many people with their helps and attempts. Before they established this branch in Shahrekord, they had come to Isfahan and served there for 8 years, however, they NEVER thought how many kilometers they had come and gone to help and serve drug-consumers (the distance between Isfahan and Shahrekord is about 110 kilometers and they came from their home in Shahrekord to help people in Isfahan three or five times a week for about 8 years). You can see how experienced this nice couple are. When Mr. Kamran was coming to Isfahan, I was his disciple, and always I was thinking that they came to help us hundreds of kilometers but how it was possible that I did not take a step to help myself. They could help many people liberate from addiction and they served one year as Marzban. They loved people without any expectations. Mr. Kamran was Omman's agent for a long time and Mrs. Marjan is now an assistant. If I want to describe them, the only thing that comes into my mind is that they are the symbol of LOVE and a statement from the 14th valley can best describe them: LOVE is not of body, of touch, of speech or deals and it has no boundaries. As we are busy with our own routines, they do their activities to promote Congress60's aims to help people in different cities. I congratulate this family, my guide, Mrs. Marjan and their nice daughters on their eighth anniversary of liberation from addiction. This was my honor to be here as the guest speaker for my guide's liberation anniversary. I hope that this family be happy, healthy and prosperous everywhere and every time.

Then, Mr. Khoddami (Kamran's guide) participated on the skype:

I congratulate Kamran, his companion (Mrs. Marjan) and their daughters on the eighth anniversary of their liberation from addiction. Kamran is a lovely person. Their services in Congress60 proved that they had done effective and useful attempts in Congress60. Kamran got familiar with Congress60 in 2004 as Mrs. Marjan had found Mr. Dezhakam's office number. I was there, while Mrs. Marjan was talking to Mr. Dezhakam about Kamran's addiction. I remember that Mr. Dezhakam read a poem to her. They travelled in Isfahan branch and both became co-guide there. Both experienced many positions including being the agent of Salman, being the administrator of Congress60's internet site and Kamran also acted as a very helpful sports-camp watcher. They did whatever they could (to promote Congress60's aims in supporting and assisting people).Their most important action was the establishment of Congress60's Shahrekord branch. They have done the great work! I congratulate them again, because if we are allowed to serve people, it means that God has favored us and we have to be thankful. We have to be grateful if we are allowed to clear the earth from a filter tip in Congress60, and this makes  a great sense and this sense must exist  in one to awake him/her to do something helpful. I hope this family will be successful and I know that they will experience good and prosperous life in future. Shahrekord branch can be a mother for future branches (it will raise guides for will-be-branches).

Kamran's travel report: D estruction duration: 20years, Anti-X: opium and opium extract, Treatment Method: DST, under the guidance of Mr. Ali Khoddami; travel duration: 18 months; liberation duration: 8 years and 4 months…

Kamran's wish: I wish all of us can perform our own parts to the development of an International Academy.

Companion Marjan's wish: I hope that I can take a step in promotion of an International Academy.

Yasgol's wish: I hope all the first-travelers experience liberation.

Yasaman's wish: I hope I can be a good daughter for my parents.

Kamran's speech: before anything I would like to thank all of you who gathered here despite being busy in these days. Congress60's members own a pure heart which is buried under ashes, but if they clean their heart a little bit, their gem essence will appear. I am grateful to all of you, especially Hossein who accepted this position. Unexpectedly, Mr. Khoddami called me at noon and told me that he could not come for this ceremony due to a problem. I asked him to select one instead to serve as a guest speaker and he chose Hossein because Mr. Khoddami had served in Isfahan for many years and he knows Isfahan's members very well. I can receive all your heart-felt feelings from all who are present and all who could not attend here. I thank all with the love-waves in Congress60. All of you have helped me with the love-waves which guided me through these years. If you were not here, I had not been here too.

He continued that if I want to speak of my background, I have to say that I was the top student from the very beginning to the first grade in high school, but I was a bit naughty! My naughtiness started with smoking cigarettes, we stealthily gathered and smoked the residue of our parents' cigarettes. When I entered high school, I faced academic failure, that is why I was debilitated. Addiction could find its way to my life because I had a great ability. I was a professional runner and I was able to run 10 to 15 kilometers a day in about three to four hours. When I was in the last year of high school, we found a haunt where we could smoke drugs. Three years before smoking, I had been familiar. When I was conscripted to army for military services, I smoked drugs by and large. After serving, I could find a free job and I also got married. I had enough money, therefore, I could smoke every day. I thought that I had been different, i.e. I told myself: "you would never be an addict, because you are a professional runner. Those who enter the world of addiction, have not the capacity, that is why they get addicted, but you are completely different: you have a strong thinking power and you are an athlete". But I did not know that it does not differ for addiction that WHO is going to consume drugs, it knocks all the consumers out, no matter who s/he is.

In 1992, I could pass the university entrance exam and entered Tehran Art University where I could find my colleagues in addiction. It was the peak of my addiction. In that time, I thought that it was a lack of character for me to be addicted and I tried to quit addiction via Free-Fall (suddenly quitting drugs). My first quit lasted a year and some months, and I performed heavy exercises during this time.  I found out that I just did not smoke but I had not a normal life, therefore I consumed drugs again. My second quit refers back to the time when I heard that a drug has been distributed to the clinics where it can formally and legally be injected, it was called Tamgesic, which pushed humans to death like a lamb to the slaughter! This drug was formally prescribed by those seemingly-wise doctors, who claimed they knew everything however they did not. After that bitter experience, a person called me from Aghajari (a city in Iran). He told me that there was a drug for addiction treatment and I paid 80000 Tomans (about 22 $) in that year, but it was not helpful either. I was persuaded that addiction had not any treatment. In 2006, my wife had found Mr. Dezhakam's contact number and called him. She had asked him to speak with me. When I heard Mr. Dezhakam's voice on the phone, I felt I had known him for many years. He asked about my dosage and I told that I consumed a gram of opium per day. He told me: "It does not matter, Isfahan Branch has just been established and you can go there for treatment." I could not believe his claim because I had been tortured a lot (for different useless quits). It was difficult to obey my guide's orders. A point of departure started in April 2007, when I decided to speak frankly with my guide without any fraud, I told him that I was not honest with you, but I want to be honest from now on. From that time on, I could gradually change and I could be liberated from addiction.

We do not know where this circle (of love in Congress) started, I was lost (in the dark) and as I found my position in this circle, I was found. All the problems, all bad conditions and all the tortures made me reach this place.

The most beautiful dance in the universe is dancing with the Lord and falling in love  with him. Each human being must find his/her own style of dancing, without which s/he cannot leave this life. How fortunate we are! We, who can find our own dance in Congress60,  are the luckiest! In this place, we have the opportunity to change and this is the greatest gift given to us to perform our best dance. I watched the most beautiful dance in my guide, I did not understand his words but I did notice his unique dance (to serve the helpless). The guides in Congress60 are drunk of a potion of divine wine! And everyone near them is drunk of such a potion.

I hope we can enter the zone of LOVE where nothing can involve and trap us! Mr. Dezhakam is teaching us how to be drunk of such a LOVE. He helps us find the best way and step in the best way. The miracle of being a lover can happen to us, but where this event is actualized is different from one person to another. I am grateful to you all and I am thankful to my dearest daughters, I cannot forget how I tortured them while I was addicted and I want to compensate for all I have done to them. I am deeply indebted to Mr. Dezhakam. I am also sincerely thankful to my own guide and my wife's co-guide (Miss. Soudabe). I am grateful to you all, without you, Kamran was nothing. You have defined Kamran's sense of life. I hope you a prosperous year and I hope you can get what you wish in the coming year, provided that it is a reasonable one.

Marjan's speech: I am so happy to have you as friends who transferred your nice sensations to us. I congratulate Mr. Dezhakam and Mrs. Ani without whom we could not gather together. I hope them happiness and a healthy life. I am thankful to them for what they taught us. I congratulate Mr. Khoddami and Miss. Soudabe, because we experience the best of moments only because of their attempts and instructions in 10 years. Mr. Khoddami said that Mr. Dezhakam read a poem to me when I was talking to him, when I was stranded and there was no way of leaving that miserable situation, Mr. Dezhakam said:

Your lost Joseph will return to Canaan, do not grieve!
This house of sorrows will become a garden, do not grieve!

As I heard this poem, everything in my life changed, and now I am very happy, my Joseph returned back to me, and the house of grief changed to the house of happiness and welfare. He was not a husband to rely on and he was not a father to be with his children, but he changed. Professor William White had sent an email to Mr. Dezhakam for his third anniversary of liberation from smoking. There was an interesting sentence in that letter. He had addressed Mr. Dezhakam and said: " YOU ARE MY HERO (one who does brave and courageous actions)". As I read the sentence I cried because Mr. Dezhakam is my greatest hero in life . I congratulate my husband another hero who has done a work that the world has not been able to do and I wish him all the best.

I am also thankful to Mr. Hossein who accepted to serve in guest-speaker position. I am deeply grateful to my daughters who bravely attend this ceremony and are gratified for the fact that their father has once been a drug-abuser but now they love him. I am grateful to all who came from Isfahan branch, I know if you were not here I had not been able to experience such a good sense of happiness. I hope everyone who enters this place achieves what s/he wants and no one leaves this place disappointedly. I wish all of you a healthy and prosperous life. Thank you.

Companion Yasaman: I congratulate my father on his birthday and the 8th anniversary of liberation, and (having) an ideal life. I am thankful to Mr. Hossein and Mr. Dezhakam and Mrs. Ani. I am also grateful to Mr. Amin, Mr. Khoddami and Mrs. Soudabe. I congratulate my father, my mother and my lovely sister.

Companion Yasgol's speech: "You have to reach invaluable things in your life. Seek for the real meaning of the Lord's words. Try to apply what you are told, then you see that the power of the Lord will be manifested in that person's actions. You, do not worry, try to do righteous actions. Try to strengthen your monetary status. Then, you will notice how easy it is to climb a palm tree. Reaching the summit is not a great work but the sign you leave there, is the most important thing. You have to return to your glorious position, not for ostentation, but because it is a sign of what is sign-less." I congratulate my father, Mr. Dezhakam and his most respected family on this day. I hope travellers who enter this place do not leave here disappointedly. I hope all the travellers will be liberated and we have ceremonies like this every day.
