I hope you are fine, I am well. Initially I would like to congratulate the 30th anniversary of your marriage with dear Rita from bottom of my heart. I hope that you will have fine days ahead like before.
My family and I are also well and we are living in our apartment and we are content with our life and as you mentioned we must appreciate the blessing of living for having this bliss and family. We can offer peace to others as long as we have that peace within ourselves and I am so happy for having a friend like you whom is filled with peace and calmness.
Dear friend, my deepest condolences for departure of your friend. I will pray for him and wish patience for his family.

Dear Bill, as you know the education calendar of Congress 60 has 52 topics which is equal to 52 weeks of the year.
In this week, beginning from Wednesday for duration of one week the weekly agenda of all branches of Congress 60 is “smoking”. In this week the senior members of William White legions will be the guest speakers of the sessions and they will lecture on disadvantages of smoking and they will inspire members to start smoking cessation with the DST method.
Anyway as the announced time for smoking cessation is coming to end, the William White legions are becoming more crowded.
Dear Bill, as you mentioned the nicotine replacement therapy has been used in the U.S before, but they didn’t get the appropriate results and I am so delighted that you referred to the most important point and you called it the key point.
Yes my dear friend, time period is the key point in smoking treatment and other substances treatments and I have mentioned this subject in the DST method with the ‘T’ and the minimum needed time to treat addiction or smoking cessation is 10 months. Addiction treatment is not possible in less than 10 months. As I mentioned before this number – 10 months is understood through the experience I did with Amin.

I am looking forward to the photos you will be sending to include in our article on Congress 60 that will appear in Counselor Magazine. We still have time to work on this since the deadline for me submitting the article is not until September.
How did the presentations go by the senior members of William White legions? I hope they were well-received by members of Congress 60 and more members will be inspired to begin smoking cessation using the DST method that is proving so successful.
A communication arrived this week from a PhD student in Iran who wants to write a book on the history of addiction and treatment in Iran. She is quite interested in this subject and contacted me after seeing our communications on the Congress 60 website. The student's name is Sahar Eshrati and I have sent her information that I hope will aid her efforts. I have also encouraged her to get in touch with you to see what assistance you might be able to offer.
This past week I have been working on editing interviews with some of the pioneers in addiction research in the United States and working on short articles about recovery for posting on my website. Even though I can no longer travel easily, I still enjoy serving the field through my writing.
There was a recent news story I saw about new alcoholism treatment clinics opening in Iran. Do you know of the methods that they will be using?
Things are very quiet in our community here. Most of the people who come to Florida for the winter have now gone back to their homes in the north, so traffic is much lighter and the restaurants are no longer crowded. It is also much warmer so Rita and I do our walks early in the morning by the marina where we see much wildlife. This morning we saw a dolphin and a manatee and seabirds of numerous varieties. We try very hard not to take this loved environment for granted. We have had bad weather in many parts of the United States with many homes destroyed or damaged, but all has been normal here, though our hurricane season begins this month and continues until November.
